George Orwell Quote

"Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand."

Great, one more reason to question my sanity at 3:22 a.m.!

I love the quote. I had a "best quotes" book years ago, but not the traditional kind you see sold in all the bookstores. it was full of things like "it's better to die on your feet than live on your knees." I seem to recall a number of orwell quotes there, ones i was surprised about, ones like this one (but not this one, specifically).

i have written a number of stories based on quotes and i may have to start that up again. i got "nothin'" to say right now, writing wise. NOTHIN! i'm quoting some seinfeld here, lamely.
